Clearer AI scribe: know when Sage is working

  • See that the AI scribe is on during the visit. A chip in the live visit now tells you up front that the note will draft automatically when you end the visit — no more wondering whether AI is running.
  • One AI progress tracker after the visit. The finalized visit shows a single ordered pipeline — Recorded → Transcript → AI draft → Review — replacing the stack of separate status badges and banners, so it's always clear what Sage is doing and what's next.
  • A guided review of Sage's suggestions. When a draft is ready the note editor shows how many fields Sage drafted and steps you through each suggestion to review before signing — nothing is applied automatically.
  • Signed notes keep a record of Sage's contribution. A signed note now shows how many fields were signed as Sage suggested versus refined by you, so the AI's contribution stays on the record.
  • Consistent AI wording. Re-running a transcript is now one action everywhere, and the Sign & Bill compile is clearly labelled the "Sage claim note," distinct from the section suggestions Sage drafts in the note.

Structured treatment-plan goal builder

  • Add plan goals from a guided menu. The treatment-plan editor now has an "Add objective" flyout instead of a single blank row — pick a starting point instead of typing every goal from scratch.
  • Track a scale or survey with a numeric target. Choose any of your scored assessments (PHQ-9, GAD-7, and more) and set a target score; the plan objective then shows the patient's latest score against the goal (e.g. "PHQ-9 · latest 14 → ≤ 5").
  • A library of ready-made goals by specialty. Common, well-formed goals grouped by clinical domain — depression & mood, anxiety & trauma, substance use, coping skills, sleep & lifestyle, primary care, pain, and perinatal health — drop straight into the plan.
  • Custom goals that stick around. Type your own goal once and it's saved for your clinic, resurfacing as a reusable option in the menu next time.
  • See progress against every goal on the plan card. Trackable (survey-backed) objectives now render a score trend chart with the target drawn as a clear goal line and an "at goal" indicator, while narrative goals show as plain text — so the whole plan reads at a glance.

Draft a treatment plan from recent notes

  • Draft from notes. The treatment-plan editor has a "Draft from notes" button that reads the patient's recent clinical notes and fills in suggested overall goals, discharge criteria, and objectives for you to review and edit — nothing is saved until you hit Save.

One consistent date picker everywhere

  • The same designed calendar picker on every date field. Date inputs across the app now share one control: a left-side calendar icon that opens our calendar picker, plus a typeable field so you can just type or paste a date (e.g. "Apr 27, 2026" or "2026-04-27") when that's faster. Calendar-event dates, recurring-schedule times, availability and time-off dates, license expiry, patient-intake forms, filters, and the Sage date-of-birth step all use it — no more inconsistent browser-native date boxes.

Getting-started checklist & tours match your role

  • A setup checklist tailored to what you do. The dashboard "Getting started" checklist now shows the tasks that actually apply to you: providers get prompts to set up their signing signature, availability, and e-prescribing paperwork; billing and admins get "Connect Stripe to accept patient payments" and "Activate your subscription plan"; everyone still gets the practice-setup and first-patient steps they can act on.
  • A guided tour for each workspace. The first-login product tour is now keyed to your persona — clinical, front desk, billing, or admin — so the walkthrough highlights the nav and tools for the view you actually land on. Re-run it any time from Help.
  • Sign your e-prescribing authorization anytime. Providers can now complete (or re-check) their e-prescribing authorization from Settings → Integrations, not just during initial onboarding.

Self-serve patient import onboarding

  • Start a migration from inside EnWella. A new **Patient Import** page (admin → Platform & account) walks you through migrating patients from another EHR: an intro explaining what happens, a slider to estimate your cost, and one-click entry into the import console.
  • See the price before you commit. Migration is $2 per migrated patient (minimum $100). The calculator estimates your total up front; you're only charged for the patients actually migrated, after the migration completes.
  • Sign once, then import. Two agreements — a PHI release and a payment authorization — are signed inline via DocuSeal. Once both are signed, the import console opens for your clinic; if you've already signed, you go straight in.

Patient intake matches the onboarding wizard

  • A cleaner, guided intake. The patient intake form now uses the same step-by-step wizard as the rest of onboarding — a progress bar, clear step titles, and consistent Back/Continue navigation — so filling out your information feels like one seamless flow from sign-up through intake.

Bring a full patient chart from another EHR

  • Import a complete chart, not just the basics. Migrating a patient from another system now brings across the whole record — demographics, medications, allergies, problems, lab results, vitals, immunizations, procedures, past encounters, referrals, family/social history, care team, and insurance — so a provider opens a fully populated chart on day one.
  • Bring the paperwork too. Connected documents (discharge summaries, lab PDFs, scanned records) come over as real files you can open and download, attached to the patient.
  • Review before it lands. A patient-by-patient review console lets staff scan every imported record under clear tabs and accept or reject items before anything is written into the chart.

Self-guided wellness check-ins

  • Take a mental-health check-in on your own. A private assessment library lets you complete validated screeners like the PHQ-9 and GAD-7 whenever you want — no clinic or appointment needed. You get your result and what it means right away, and if a score suggests you could use support, we gently point you to help. Only you can see these.
  • Crisis resources one tap away. If a check-in raises a safety concern, Sage surfaces the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, the Crisis Text Line, and emergency options with a single tap to call or text.
  • A playful focus check. A quick reaction-time game — tap the green circle fast, hold when it’s red — gives you a light, encouraging read on how sharp you feel right now. Just for you, and never a medical score.

Text-message opt-out that actually sticks

  • Patients control their texts with STOP and START. Replying STOP to any EnWella text (appointment reminder, visit confirmation, portal invite, outreach) now stops every kind of text from the practice at once — and replying START turns them back on. Previously the carrier blocked the message but the practice kept trying to send.

Pay your clinic online, and real subscription billing

  • Patients can pay invoices online. Open invoices in the patient portal and the mobile app now have a Pay button — pay with a saved card, a new card, or Apple/Google Pay on mobile. Stripe emails a receipt, and a receipt link appears on the invoice once the payment lands.
  • Practice subscriptions now bill for real. Choosing a plan during onboarding captures your practice card with Stripe and starts the trial; when the trial ends, billing begins automatically at the catalog price. Plan, seat, and add-on changes prorate on your next invoice, and canceling now keeps your access until the end of the period you paid for (with one-click reactivate).
  • Card refunds reach the card. Refunding a card payment from the EHR now refunds it on Stripe first, so the money actually goes back before the books say it did.

Sage answers your questions in the app

  • Ask Sage anything. The in-app Sage assistant now understands free-text questions: it routes booking, insurance, refill, billing, records, and clinical asks to the right flow, and — for general questions it can't script — answers directly with a friendly reply drawn from your clinic's own hours, address, and accepted-insurance facts. When it isn't sure, it hands you to the front desk rather than guessing, and it never gives medical advice.
  • Keep chatting with Sage. For open-ended questions, Sage now drops into a real back-and-forth conversation instead of a one-shot answer — it can look up your clinic's live hours and FAQ and leave a callback ticket for staff, all in the same thread. It still never gives medical advice or books on its own; scheduling stays in the guided flow.

Journal and mood log, together

  • One place for journaling and mood check-ins. In the mobile app, the mood log now lives inside the Journal: tap a face, add an optional note, and see your two-week mood trend right above your entries. Old "Mood log" links land on the merged screen automatically.
  • Moods your care team can actually read. Mood check-ins are now stored as structured data instead of encoded text, so mood badges show up consistently on the patient chart's journal, the patient portal, and the mobile app — including entries logged before this change.

A warmer mood check-in, and check-ins that clear when you finish

  • Sage cheers your mood entry. In the mobile app, logging your daily mood now brings up Sage with a message tailored to how you're feeling — and, when you have check-ins due, offers them right there so you can flow straight from your mood into your questionnaires.
  • Finished check-ins clear from your list. Your required check-ins now follow your clinic's schedule: complete one and it drops off your home screen, notifications, and check-in list until it comes due again — no more being asked for something you already did this period.

A friendly welcome from Sage

  • Sage greets you when you open the app. Launching the mobile app while signed out now plays a short animated welcome — Sage waves hello over the EnWella brand backdrop — before taking you to sign-in. Tap to skip ahead anytime. Returning users unlocking with Face ID / Touch ID go straight to sign-in.

Invoices you can read, and documents that actually open

  • Clearer invoices with a downloadable PDF. The mobile billing screen now shows each invoice by visit and provider, with a plain-English status and an itemized breakdown of charges — plus a **View PDF** button to open or share the full, clinic-branded invoice.
  • Documents open reliably on mobile. Opening a referral or invoice PDF from the app now downloads and displays the real document instead of a blank page.
  • Signing consents works on mobile. Tapping "Review & sign" now opens the secure signing page authenticated, instead of a blank screen — so patients can complete required consents from their phone.

A daily check-in with Sage

  • Daily mood check-in. A gentle daily reminder opens a calming, Sage-led screen that asks how you're feeling. Sage reacts to your answer — a soft, caring face on a hard day, a cheer on a good one — saves it to your journal for your care team, and guides you into any check-ins you still have due. Set it to daily or weekly and pick the time that works for you in Preferences.

Find a clinic & Sage assistant in the patient app

  • Find your clinic right in the app. Patients who install the app without an invite now land on a searchable clinic directory — filter by state, specialty, and in-person vs. virtual care — instead of an empty screen, and can join a clinic on their own.
  • Sage comes to mobile. The Sage front-desk assistant from clinic websites is now built into the patient app: new patients can register and book their first visit, and existing patients can book visits, verify insurance coverage, request refills, and reach billing or a nurse — all in one guided chat, with an "Ask Sage" shortcut next to each clinic in Messages.

Guided first-time intake in the patient app

  • New patients finish intake before they get started. A first-time patient who signs into the app is now taken straight to their intake — a stepper that walks through contact details, demographics, payment, and every consent their clinic requires — and lands on Home only once it's complete. Their answers stay viewable and editable under Account → My intake form.

Personas provisioned at invite & for new clinic owners

  • Every teammate lands in the right workspace from day one. Inviting a provider or staff member now requires choosing one or more personas (Clinical, Front desk, Billing, Admin) up front, so the new member arrives with the correct role bundles and a curated nav view already set — no separate follow-up step.
  • Clinic owners get the full picture. When you found a new clinic you now hold every persona automatically, so the workspace switcher is populated and you can move between the Clinical, Front desk, Billing, and Admin views immediately.

Faster visit booking in the patient app

  • Pick any week from a native calendar. The week selector in Book a Visit now stays pinned while you scroll, and tapping it opens your phone's calendar picker to jump straight to a date instead of paging week by week.
  • Filter open times by visit type. Choose the kind of visit you need — initial, follow-up, or any type your clinic offers online — and the open times reshape to that visit's length and are booked as that type.
  • Your scheduling preferences, one tap away. Preferred days and times of day live right on the booking screen, and suggested times are scored against them.

Apple Health mood & check-in sync in the patient app

  • Your moods and check-ins flow both ways with Apple Health. Connect Apple Health in the patient app and the moods and PHQ-9 / GAD-7 check-ins you log there sync into your record, so your care team sees the full picture — and the ones you complete in the app are saved back to Apple Health's State of Mind and Mental Health sections.
  • Optional check-in reminders. Turn on a daily or weekly nudge in notification settings to log your mood and complete your assigned check-ins.

Smarter forms in the patient app

  • Every form now checks your entries before sending. Names, emails, dates, insurance details, and check-ins are validated against the same rules the clinic's system enforces, with clear inline messages instead of a cryptic server error after the fact.
  • A proper phone field. Phone numbers get a country picker with flags and format as you type — (555) 555-0143 — and are saved in a consistent international format everywhere: contact info, emergency contact, pharmacy, and phone verification.
  • Clearer save feedback. Saving shows a progress notice that turns into a confirmation or a specific error message.

A frontdesk that sounds human

  • Natural AI voices for the phone frontdesk. The voice agent now speaks with Google's newest generative Chirp3-HD voices — warm and conversational instead of robotic — carried all the way through to the live phone line.
  • A real voice picker with instant previews. The voice chooser lists every available voice, labeled by style and gender, and plays a spoken sample the moment you pick one so you can hear it before you save.

Verified cards on file

  • Patients save a real, verified card during onboarding. A new payment step near the end of intake lets patients add a card that's verified and tokenized by Stripe — no more hand-typed card details, and clinics get a card on file for copays and balances from day one.
  • Card entry is now Stripe-verified everywhere. Staff adding a card from a patient's chart use the same secure Stripe form; brand, last four, and expiry always come straight from Stripe, never typed by hand.

Dashboards you can work from

  • Every persona's dashboard, rebuilt to act on. Attention sections now expand in place to the real list — the same tables you'd see on the full page — so you can clear work without leaving the dashboard.
  • Today's schedule with a check-in bar. Clinical and front-desk dashboards show a color-segmented check-in progress bar for today's visits, expanding to the full appointment list ("no more visits today" when you're done).
  • A collapsible provider inbox. Refills, notes to sign, co-sign requests, and unread messages are now expandable rows, each opening to its queue.
  • Patients needing attention. A new clinical card surfaces critical survey alerts, critical lab results, and labs still awaiting results — a critical result now automatically flags the patient.
  • A sharper front desk. Unhandled AI voicemail calls, appointment requests, the waitlist, unconfirmed visits over the next three days, and patients with a visit today who haven't finished intake — each one row you can open.
  • Admin at a glance. New cards for team-vs-seats, the insurances your clinic accepts, and a "file a ticket to the Enwella team" drawer with your open tickets.
  • Charts explain themselves. Every dashboard chart now has an info tooltip describing what it shows.

Subscription & Add-ons, rebuilt

  • A real plan manager. The Subscription page now reads and writes your actual subscription — switch plans, change billing period, and add or remove add-ons, all backed by the real billing model instead of a preview.
  • Plans show what you get. Each plan card lists the features it includes, so it's clear what you gain (or lose) before switching.
  • Provider seats count themselves. Seats now follow your onboarded providers automatically — add or remove a provider in Team and your seat count updates on its own, no manual stepper.
  • Manage billing in Stripe. Payment method and receipts are handled in the secure Stripe-hosted billing portal, opened straight from the page.
  • Real invoice history. Your subscription invoices list from real records, with links to the Stripe-hosted invoice and PDF.
  • Cancel or reactivate anytime. Cancelling locks new feature creation but keeps all patient data accessible; reactivate whenever you're ready.
  • Patient payments moved to Integrations. Connecting Stripe to accept patient card payments now lives under Settings → Integrations, alongside your other connections.

Team Chat, upgraded

  • Group threads with a face. Team Chat now works like a modern messenger: each conversation has a name, and its avatar is an automatic collage of the first few members (or your own uploaded image). Start a thread with more than one teammate at once using the new member picker.
  • Make each thread yours. Give any conversation a title, description, accent color, custom image, and manage its members — all from one drawer. Pin the conversations you care about to the top, and leave any thread (it stays intact for everyone else, and teammates can add you back).
  • Start a thread in two clicks. The "+" in Team Chat now opens a quick picker: search your teammates, select a few, and hit Create — no full form needed. "More options" still opens the full editor for a title, color, or image.

One medications list

  • Medications, prescriptions, and reconciliation in one list. The patient chart's Medications tab is now a single, scannable list instead of three separate sub-tabs — no more hopping between tabs to see the full picture.
  • "Prescribed here" at a glance. Medications prescribed in-house are badged and float to the top of the list, so it's obvious which drugs originated in your clinic versus were entered from an outside source.
  • Reconciliation alerts, inline. Scripts you sent or filled that aren't on the chart yet surface as a "Needs review" alert at the top of the list with one-click "Add to chart"; "Prescribe in DxScript" and the full reconciliation view now live right in the list header.

Clinical referrals

  • Refer patients to outside specialists. A new Clinical Referral tab on the patient chart lets providers create a referral with a title, target doctor, specialty, and reason — draft it, sign it, and it locks.
  • Remembered target doctors. The target-doctor field remembers names you've used before (and suggests the specialty you last paired with each), so repeat referrals are a couple of clicks.
  • One-click signed PDF. Every referral prints as a clean, clinic-branded letter signed by the referring provider.
  • Patients get their copy. Signed referrals appear read-only in the patient portal under "Referrals", downloadable as a PDF.
  • Sage suggests referrals. The AI note draft can now propose a specialist referral with the specialty and reason pre-filled; accept it in Sign & Bill and it lands on the chart as a draft referral ready to sign.

Analytics hub & workspace-tuned navigation

  • Analytics hub. Admins get a single practice-wide Analytics home with areas for Outcomes & Surveys, Appointments & Visits, Patient Retention, Billing, and AI (usage, Sage notes, and AI Frontdesk KPIs) — the numbers that used to be scattered across pages now live in one place.
  • Cleaner Admin navigation. The Settings mega-menu is now a flat, grouped admin nav — Clinic setup, People, AI & Growth, and Content & web — so every setup surface is one click from the sidebar.
  • Note Templates where you write notes. Your personal clinical note templates moved into the Clinical workspace, and Payer setup (insurance) now sits with Billing.

Patient chart redesign

  • Allergies and Diagnoses are now their own chart tabs. The old Overview tab is gone; its safety info lives in the persistent patient banner, and Allergies and Diagnoses each get a dedicated, editable tab.
  • One Medications tab. Medications, Prescriptions, and Med reconciliation are merged into a single Medications tab with List · Prescriptions · Reconciliation sub-tabs.
  • Per-patient Audit Log. Every chart now has a Record → Audit Log tab showing who viewed and changed that chart, alongside the practice-wide log under Admin.
  • Clinical Referral . tab added (coming soon) for referring a patient out.

Dashboards tuned to your workspace

  • Per-persona dashboard. The dashboard now curates itself to your active workspace — Clinical sees the inbox, next visit, and quick analytics; Front Desk sees today's numbers; Billing sees revenue and invoice reports; Admin sees AI/Sage usage and practice analytics. Switch to "All" for the full view.

Every dashboard gets an attention queue

  • Attention items for every workspace. Each persona dashboard now leads with a "needs attention" queue built for its role — Front Desk sees pending appointment requests and unconfirmed visits, Billing sees denied claims and unpaid invoices, Admin sees subscription and setup items, Clinical keeps the full provider inbox. Every workspace also gets its charts.

Claim statuses follow the money

  • Clearinghouse & payment claim statuses. Claims now show an "Acknowledged" status once the clearinghouse accepts an electronic submission, and move to "Partially paid" / "Paid" as payments post against them — with the outstanding balance kept in sync automatically.

Manage your EnWella subscription

  • Subscription & Add-ons. The Subscription page is live: see your current plan, status, and renewal at a glance, switch plans or billing period, toggle paid add-ons (and their tiers), and cancel or resume — all with your patient records always preserved.

Appointment Desk

  • One desk for scheduling. Appointment requests, a new patient waitlist, and your appointment templates now live together under one Appointment Desk. Add patients to the waitlist, move them through Contacted → Scheduled as slots open, and handle requests without leaving the page.

Team Chat

  • Staff-to-staff messaging. A new Team Chat lets your staff message each other privately, separate from patient conversations — start a thread with a teammate and keep the back-and-forth in one place.

Billing dashboard

  • A revenue-cycle view for billers. The dashboard's Billing workspace now shows billing-focused charts instead of the clinical ones — claims by status with a denial/rejection rate, a claims-acceptance funnel (first-pass vs. one follow-up vs. multiple resubmissions), revenue billed, invoice status, and payer mix — alongside a "needs a biller" card for denied claims and unpaid invoices.

Role-based workspaces

  • Workspaces. Team members can now hold one or more workspaces — Clinical, Front Desk, Billing, or Admin — each a curated nav view plus a bundle of permissions. A new switcher at the top of the sidebar flips between the workspaces you hold (or the full "All" view), keeping each screen focused on the job at hand.
  • Persona-based team setup. Admins assign workspaces to each member from Team → Edit access; the Admin workspace deliberately excludes patient-chart access so admin-only staff never see PHI they don't need.

Labs in the patient chart

  • Lab orders & results. A new **Labs** tab in the patient chart lets providers order LOINC test panels, track each requisition's status, and record results with reference-range gauges and abnormal-flag highlighting.
  • Lab trends. A Trends view lists every resulted analyte with its latest value against the normal range, and reveals a time-series chart on hover.

Frontdesk, reorganized

  • Activity dashboard + Records table, split cleanly. The Frontdesk tab now opens on an at-a-glance Activity dashboard (KPIs + channel-mix and outcome charts), with a separate full-width **Records** table listing every call, Sage chat, and voicemail — searchable, filterable by source, with voicemails resolved or dismissed inline.
  • Knowledge base is its own tab. The Q&A the AI reads to callers moved out of the voice settings into a dedicated Frontdesk sub-tab.
  • All AI settings in one inline drawer. Phone-line claim/release, voice & persona, capabilities, and hours & escalation all edit in place in one Settings drawer (grouped Note drafting / AI Frontdesk) — no pop-out sub-dialogs, one Save. Business hours use the same weekly-schedule editor as provider availability; the monthly-usage meter reflects live token usage.
  • Editable, saved frontdesk settings. Voice & persona, business hours, and the warm-transfer / after-hours / crisis escalation numbers are now real, persisted settings on your frontdesk line — not placeholders.
  • Pick from real Google voices, with a preview. The voice picker lists live Cloud Text-to-Speech voices and plays a short spoken sample so you can hear each one before choosing.

Sage notes insights

  • Insights sub-tab for Sage notes. Establishment → Enwella Sage AI → Notes now splits into an **Overview** and a new **Insights** view showing which note fields clinicians most often keep, adjust, or skip; the most-used note templates; per-clinician acceptance; and Sage's generation reliability, speed, and token economy — all filterable over the last 7 / 30 / 90 days.

See how your practice uses Sage

  • Sage usage on your dashboard. A new headline card shows this month's Sage activity at a glance — notes drafted, how often clinicians kept its suggestions, estimated spend, and a daily trend line.
  • Sage usage breakdown. A new "Sage usage" section under Establishment settings charts draft volume split before vs after the visit, and shows how per-field suggestions were treated — kept as suggested, adjusted, or not used — over the last 7, 30, or 90 days.

A tidier Enwella Sage AI hub

  • Sage settings, one click from anywhere. The Enwella Sage AI tab bar now shows your model, scribe state, and monthly quota at a glance, with a Settings button — on both the Notes and Frontdesk tabs — that opens a refreshed configuration drawer led by a model banner and usage meter.
  • Matching analytics on Frontdesk. The Frontdesk Activity view now opens with the same headline numbers and charts as Sage usage on Notes — total interactions, bookings, new patients, conversion rate, plus channel-mix and outcome breakdowns.
  • A roomier Frontdesk. Switch the Frontdesk section navigation between a collapsible side rail (folds to icons, expands on hover) and a row of top tabs — your choice is remembered.
  • One Frontdesk feed. Activity, call log, and voicemails are merged into a single searchable, sortable table with a source filter — resolve or dismiss voicemails inline without leaving the view.

AI prepares your note before the visit

  • Pre-visit note prep. Shortly before each scheduled appointment, the AI now drafts an anticipatory note — pulling the visit reason, open follow-ups, items and results to review, and medication/refill needs — so the note is "draft ready" the moment you open it. It never invents exam findings, and it never touches a note you've already started.
  • Visit agenda during the call. The in-progress visit screen now shows an AI-prepared agenda — what to follow up on, results to review, and items the last visit left open — so you walk into the encounter already oriented.
  • Sage suggestions inside note fields. When an AI draft exists, note fields show EnWella Sage's suggested value inline — hover for the suggestion and its source, apply it into an empty field, or restore it after you've edited — and every field gets a one-click clear. Sage suggests; it never overwrites.

AI visit notes draft themselves after the call

  • Automatic AI note drafting. When a recorded visit ends, the note now narrates its progress right on the finalized page — transcribing, then AI processing, then "AI draft ready" — and the draft is generated automatically from the visit transcript. You can also re-run it on demand from the recording.
  • The AI never overwrites your note. The AI draft is produced on the side, shaped to the selected note template, so anything you've already written stays exactly as you left it until you choose to pull the draft in.

Your clinic's own note field values

  • Custom note-field values stick for your clinic. Type a value that isn't in a note field's built-in list and pick "Add" — it's saved for the whole clinic and resurfaces (under a "Custom (clinic)" group) in that same field on every future visit note.

Cleaner notes everywhere + live AI status on finalized visits

  • One consistent note layout. Every clinical note now renders in the same tidy key-value style with styled section blocks — in-progress visits, finalized visits, and the patient chart all match.
  • Live AI status on the visit summary. The finalized visit page now shows a banner that tracks the post-visit pipeline as it runs: transcription preparing → AI note generating → AI note ready.
  • Collapsible, resizable transcript panel. On the finalized visit page the transcript / actions / widgets panel now drags to resize and folds away — sharing the same width preference as the in-call video panel.
  • Clear "nothing recorded" state. When a visit captured no audio, the Transcript and Actions tabs now say so plainly instead of offering a dead-end generate button.
  • Change the visit location from the summary. The finalized page now carries the same in-office / telehealth selector as the live visit, replacing the static visit-type label.

Faster diagnosis & procedure entry on notes

  • Type-to-add diagnoses and procedures. "Add new diagnosis" and "Add procedure" on a clinical note now open a search-as-you-type picker over the ICD-10 and CPT catalogs — pick a code and it's added instantly, with the picker staying open so you can add several in a row. Each added item is still fully editable (status, onset, units, description, …) from its row.

Vitals trends right in the note

  • Vitals now chart over time. The Vitals block in a clinical note matches the Rating scales block: each measurement is an auto-saving row, with a hover chart of that vital's trend across past visits and a "previous reading" badge for quick context.
  • Add only the vitals you took. An "Add vital" picker lets you drop in just the measurements recorded this visit instead of wading through every field.

Polished consent documents with auto-filled patient details

  • Redesigned consent forms. The starter consent templates (HIPAA, telehealth, financial, ROI, and the rest) now render as cleanly designed documents — a branded letterhead, a plain-language summary card, clear section styling, and a dedicated signature page — instead of plain text.
  • Your practice name and the patient's name fill themselves in. Wherever a template references your practice, it now shows your clinic's name; wherever it references the patient, their name is pre-filled and locked when they open the form to sign — so patients only have to add their signature.

Click-to-chart note sections

  • Pick options instead of typing prose. The Assessment & Plan, Medical Decision Making, Risk, Therapy, and Brief Med Update note sections now offer one-click checklists for the things providers used to free-type — labs and referrals to order, patient-education topics, medication changes, E/M justification factors, therapy interventions and themes, safety-plan components, and target symptoms. A free-text box stays on each for the unusual case.
  • Consistent option lists across every template. The choices are shared, so wording stays identical whether you open a SOAP, psychiatric eval, or brief med-management note.

Generate notes with AI in Sign & Bill

  • Generate with AI. The Sign & Bill window has a "Generate with AI" button that drafts a clean clinical note from the visit's chart context, the prepared transcript, and any extra instructions you type in — then surfaces suggested CPT codes, diagnoses, and medications for you to accept. Accepted items are written to the chart (medications as draft prescriptions) only when you sign, and the visit transcript is prepared automatically after the visit so it's ready when you are.

Faster clinical note charting

  • Vitals moved into a tidy drawer. Across every note template, vitals now live in their own collapsible panel (like Review of Systems and the Mental Status Exam) instead of taking a full-width card — recorded values show as a compact summary, and you open the drawer only when you need to edit them.
  • "Mark all normal" shortcut. The Review of Systems and Mental Status Exam editors gain a one-click button that fills every system/domain with its within-normal-limits findings, so you only edit the exceptions.
  • Add a diagnosis without leaving the note. The encounter diagnoses panel now has an "Add new diagnosis" button — record a brand-new ICD-10 diagnosis and it is added to the patient's chart and attached to this visit in one step.
  • Reconcile medications during the visit. A new Medications panel inside the note editor lets you add or update the patient's medications while you chart, without switching over to the chart's medications tab.
  • Safer "copy from a previous visit." . Starting a note from a prior visit is now clearer — pick "Use Template" for a fresh note or "Copy last" to carry a previous note forward — and you can only copy from completed (signed) notes. Copied notes show a banner reminding you to double-check imported information (timestamps, vitals, and signatures are never copied), and that same reminder appears one last time when you sign. You can also go back and copy a previous visit even after you've already picked a template.

Rating scales in psychiatry notes

  • Record rating scales right in the note. Psychiatry note templates gain a Rating Scales section with a tab for every survey your practice has enabled for in-visit use (PHQ-9, GAD-7, BDI-II, Y-BOCS, and more). Enter a score and the note shows the interpretation instantly (e.g. "c/w moderate depression").
  • Scores flow to the chart and the note. Each score you record links to the patient chart — trending on the Progress tab alongside patient-submitted results — and appends to the signed note as a clean, dated history of every scale over time.

Provider appointment reminders

  • Reminder emails built for providers. Appointment reminder emails now read clearly as your own schedule and carry a button to join the visit (telehealth) or open the appointment. Provider reminder emails are off by default and never go out 24 hours ahead — turn on same-day reminders any time under Settings → Notifications.

Cleaner branded consent documents

  • Refreshed consent PDF design. Consent documents now open with the clinic logo and name centered in a letterhead, a clear title-and-summary header, and a tidier, easier-to-read signature page — applied to both the starter library previews and the branded copy attached when a template is adopted.

Appointment confirmation reminders

  • Confirm-your-visit notifications. Patients now get an email and text 24 hours before each appointment (or right away if it's booked inside that window) asking them to confirm. One tap confirms and opens a new appointment page where they can also reschedule, cancel, or message the clinic — and finish any outstanding intake forms or consents before the visit.

E-prescribing safety: cancel, tracking, EPCS, allergy screening

  • Cancelling a script now cancels it at the pharmacy. A transmitted prescription that's cancelled is withdrawn from the pharmacy via Photon, not just dropped from the local list.
  • Track a prescription's pharmacy status. A Track action on sent scripts shows the live order state, fulfillment method, carrier/tracking, and fills.
  • EPCS enrollment for prescribers. Providers can enroll in controlled- substance e-prescribing (DEA + identity proofing) and see their status right on the prescriptions tab.
  • Allergies are screened at the pharmacy. Allergy entry searches a coded allergen catalog; coded allergies are shared with the pharmacy so drug-allergy interactions are caught at fill time.

Drug catalog & pharmacy search for e-prescribing

  • Search the drug catalog when composing a script. The medication field on a prescription now searches Photon's drug catalog; picking a drug fills in its strength, RxNorm code, and — critically — its controlled-substance flag and DEA schedule automatically, so the EPCS gate is driven by real data instead of hand entry.
  • Find pharmacies near the patient. Pharmacy search now ranks results by distance from the patient's address (geocoded locally — no address leaves the app), and surfaces NPI / NCPDP / fax / fulfillment type for each result.
  • Save a preferred pharmacy per patient. Providers and patients can set a preferred pharmacy from the patient's prescriptions tab; it's remembered for future scripts and mirrored to the patient's Photon record.

E-prescribing with Photon.health

  • Write and transmit e-prescriptions from the patient chart. A new Prescriptions tab lets providers compose a script (drug, dose, directions, quantity, days supply, refills), save it as a draft, then search the pharmacy directory and transmit it electronically through Photon.health.
  • Controlled substances are gated by EPCS enrollment. Schedule II–V scripts can only be sent once the prescriber has completed EPCS identity proofing, and the chart shows exactly why a send is blocked until they do.
  • Live status from the pharmacy. Each prescription tracks its lifecycle — draft, sent, filled, or error — updated automatically as Photon reports back.

Full note builder in the visit

  • The complete clinical-note builder now lives inside the meeting. Both in-progress and finalized visits open the same full note editor used on the notes page — pick a note type to start (the title auto-fills from the visit name and template), then document with the full template-driven sections, diagnoses, procedures, and signatures right beside the call. The note stays editable through the finalized stage and locks itself once signed.
  • New visit notes open to a quick setup step. A freshly started visit opens to a focused setup card — confirm the note title (pre-filled from the visit name and template) and pick a note type — and the full builder appears once both are set, so every note starts with a deliberate template.

Spreadsheet exports

  • Download my data as an Excel workbook. The patient-portal "Download my data" right-of-access export is now a single `.xlsx` workbook with a tab per record type — profile, medications, signed notes, invoices, appointments, and chart-access log — instead of a raw JSON file.
  • Patients table exports to Excel. Bulk-selecting patients and exporting now produces a clean `.xlsx` spreadsheet.

Smarter Sage voice + chat across every surface

  • OTP login as alternative to magic-link. Patients (and Sage chat visitors) can request a 6-digit code by SMS or email when they don't want to wait for a magic-link to arrive — same identity proof, faster flow.
  • Voice agent can finally book. The phone front-desk now creates real appointment requests against the same staff approval queue the chat bot and the portal use — no more lost holds, no more "we'll call you back to confirm".
  • Confirmation SMS without re-asking who you are. When the voice agent finishes a booking, the confirmation text + email go out to the caller automatically — identity flows from the verified caller-id, not from a manual lookup.
  • One eligibility check, every surface. Insurance verification in the chat bot, the voice agent, and staff workflows now hit the same X12 270/271 path — answers match across channels.
  • Anti-spam booking cap. One active appointment request per patient (and per anonymous chat session) — keeps the staff inbox honest when the same caller hits "submit" twice.

Sage chat-bot on every clinic site

  • Sage launcher pill . appears bottom-right on every clinic's marketing site. New patients register + book their first visit, returning patients identify themselves and book, anyone can check insurance coverage live.
  • Real X12 270/271 eligibility . through the same Stedi integration claims already use — no second clearinghouse.
  • SMS + email . ride the existing Twilio/Resend stack (Devise patient invite + `SmsService`). Same templates clinic staff already trust.
  • AI fallback . goes through the shared `AiChat::TurnService` Vertex pipeline, gated per-tenant by `EstablishmentAiSetting`.

Switch clinics in one click

  • Workspace switcher in the topbar. If you work across more than one clinic, jump between them without signing out and back in.
  • Per-clinic role overrides. Practice admins can promote a Front Desk to Billing for one specific clinic without creating a second login.

Faster onboarding for invited staff

  • Land on your first clinic dashboard. Invited staff used to hit a generic role picker on first sign-in. They now go straight to work.
  • No more double sign-ins. Coming back to the app from a clinic page no longer asks you to log in again.

One signing experience for every consent

  • Every consent signed in one place. Patient consents now use a single, branded signing flow — one PDF, one audit trail, one experience.
  • Starter consent pack for new clinics. Telehealth, HIPAA NPP, financial responsibility, photo release, prescription authorization, and no-show policy are pre-loaded and ready to send on day one.
  • Clinic-branded invites. Consent invitations now carry your logo, primary color, and signoff — patients recognize who's asking.

Appointment reminders that actually fire

  • Scheduled the moment a visit is booked. No more "I'll set those up later" — reminders are queued immediately on save.
  • Catch-up sending after a reschedule. If a reminder window passes while an appointment is being moved, the system sends right away instead of silently skipping.
  • Brand-aware reminders. Patient-facing reminders use your clinic's brand; internal reminders use the EnWella mark.

Patient portal polish

  • Calendar-grade self-booking. Patients now book from the exact same time-slot picker your front desk uses — open slots are accurate to the second.
  • Smarter password resets. "Forgot password" emails are portal-aware: clinic patients land back on the clinic's portal, not the generic site.

Voice frontdesk (private beta)

  • A 24/7 AI receptionist. A dedicated phone number that answers in your clinic's voice, books visits to your live calendar, and hands off to a human when the AI isn't sure.
  • Every call summarized into the chart. Each call gets a structured outcome (booked, rescheduled, refill request, billing question, escalated) and lands on the right patient's chart automatically.
  • Pricing during beta. $99/mo per location through 2026-Q3; final pricing locks at general availability.
